Earlier, I tried to make the case that it’s better to promote your website instead of your listing in a podcast directory. It follows that your website will need to make it easy to subscribe to your podcast using whatever application a person prefers. The PowerPress plugin includes a “Subscribe to Podcsast” widget that makes it super easy to do this. It creates subscribe buttons in the sidebar or other “widgetized” areas of your site. You can see an example here. Also notice the subscription links under your the player. Again, you’ll need to provide the necessary information in the plugin settings in order for these subscription buttons and links to work.
